Bronx Haven High School is dedicated to providing a supportive community environment for the academic and socio-emotional development of over-aged and under-credited students from the Bronx and upper Manhattan. We operate on a rolling admissions process coinciding with our trimesters (September, December, March). Prospective students must be between the ages of 16-20 years old and must have attended another high school for at least one year.

Our intake process has gone virtual as a result of Covid-19. Our application is available by clicking the “apply now” button in the top section of our website. Once a student completes an application, a member of our team will reach out to schedule a virtual interview with the applicant and their parent or guardian via the Zoom platform. To expedite the decision, it is recommended for applicants to send all supporting documents to intake@bronxhaven.org. The documents requested consist of the applicant’s latest transcript, RISA, immunization, and IEP if applicable. The interviews last approximately 25 minutes and require both parent/guardian/support person and prospective student to be present. We have Spanish speaking staff should anyone require a translated interview. Following a successful interview and submission of all required documents, a decision is made and communicated within 1 week. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our intake process, feel free to contact our Program Director, Angel Pinto at apinto@bronxhaven.org
